The Imperial Cities of Morocco are:

Fez (or Fes) is the cultural and spiritual capital of Morocco and actually consists of three cities: Fes el Bali, Fes and Jedid and a modern section. The old town of Fes is on the UNESCO World Heritage list.



Marrakech (or Marrakesh) is the city where mountain dwellers and nomads meet. Here ever challenged the most powerful kings and merchants sell their daily true. Marrakech is often "a pearl in the desert" and it's a place to continue to return. Scheeren tourist highlights: the Koutoubia mosque, the Ben Youssef Medersa, the beautiful gardens and palaces and the central Jeema el Fna square.



Meknes (or Meknez) is known for the many monuments and palaces in the city to find. Just the Bab Al-Mansour port is particularly worth seeing. Again, this is still walled city is on the UNESCO World Heritage list.



Rabat and the color blue belong together: the houses, the sea and air. The current Moroccan capitals were already inhabited in the Roman era.


From the stories of the storytellers Jeema el Fla in Marrakesh, kasbahs in the south, the red sand in the desert to the green mountains in the north, Morocco is a country of diversity and variety.
